Is there a clothing size that everyone should
wear? Absolutely not. A teen, for example, may require a twin bed or a queen.
If you are overweight or if you are married, you may require a different size
of mattress than "the norm." And even though queen-size mattresses are the most
popular at the moment, a queen may not suit all your needs.
According to the International Sleep Products
Association, in 1998 sales of queen-size mattresses made up 31.6 percent of all
mattresses sold. For the first time, queen-size mattresses outsold twin-size
(29.8 percent), which dropped ten points in market share from 1997. Full-size
mattresses slightly decreased in market share, while king-size increased
slightly.
